Message from the President

firma Prof Toscano

Prof. Antonio Toscano,
President of the 19th ICNMD

I want to extend a warm welcome to the 19th International Congress on Neuromuscular Diseases (ICNMD). It is with great pleasure and honour to invite you to Italy in the magnificent City of Florence for this prestigious event. The ICNMD will take place in the Congress Centre of Florence, “Fortezza da Basso”, from 7 – 11 of July 2026.

The ICNMD is recognized worldwide as a leading congress in Neuromuscular Disorders and this edition will continue this legacy with top contributions in education, diagnostic advances and scientific novelties. In July of next year, neurologists, pathologists, physiatrists, molecular biologists, geneticists, bioinformaticians and patients associations representatives as well as industry partners will gather together for ICNMD and will make Florence the capital of Neuromuscular pathology updates.

This will be also an extraordinary opportunity for all the stakeholders in the field, to meet, exchange ideas, foster fruitful collaborations and catalyze innovation at all levels. For the next ICNMD edition, we have organized a rich and stimulating programme that reflects the full spectrum of innovation and emerging perspectives in the field of Neuromuscular Disorders.

There will be keynote lectures, plenary and scientific sessions, teaching courses, oral and poster presentations, and specific workshops as well as industry supported seminars, all aimed at providing an update on the latest clinical and therapeutic trends. During the congress, participants will also have the opportunity to listen and interact with world-class experts, who will share their knowledge and experiences. Social events and networking opportunities will be also offered to the participants.

We look forward to welcoming you to Florence.
